CELTIC, Central Europe. Uncertain tribe. Mid to late 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 10 mm, 1.56 g, 6 h), Altenburg-Rheinau type. Male head to left. Rev. Horse to left. Allen, Altenburg, pl. 28, 21. D&T -, cf. 3389 (misattributed to the Arverni). Rare and unusually nice. The obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
